Places to Visit
The Beeches Glamping is the perfect base from which to explore Cornwall
We are very centrally located in mid Cornwall just 1 mile from the main A30 route. We are based just outside the beautiful historic village of Mitchell which is located equal distance between the rugged North coast and the stunning South Coast of Cornwall.

The towns of Newquay and Truro are both within a 15 minute drive. There is an abundance of places to explore locally. There are many beautiful sandy beaches, National Trust properties and gardens, bustling fishing villages, costal walks, water sports, theme parks, wildlife centres and museums. You will never get bored!
Only 4 minutes drive away is the Tartan Fox by Adam Handling situated in a 600 year old mill offering fine dining in a relaxed pub setting featuring sustainability and local produce at its heart with chef Andrew Tuck cooking with fire. The village of Mitchell is 1 mile away and has a fruit picking farm Mitchell Fruit Garden open from May to October. Also a 16th Century pub, The Plume of Feathers. A new addition is Adam Handling’s the Ugly Butterfly 2.0 now open inside The Headland Hotel with more formal fine dining with fantastic views over Fistral Beach – a great location to watch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.
