Whatever you need, Cornwall has got you covered, with plenty of spooky Halloween activities to get stuck into, including National Trust dress up days and creepy jail tours. Keep reading to discover our favourite Halloween activities in Cornwall this year…

Halloween Cornwall


1) Trerice

When: 27th to 31st October 2025

Distance from The Beeches Glamping: 5-minute drive

This October half term, the whole family can pay a visit to the National Trust’s Trerice and dress up in your favourite Halloween costumes. Step into a world of magic and mystery this Halloween at Trerice, where dragons awaken and enchantment fills the air. Enchanted dragon storytelling: Gather round for captivating tales of brave heroes, and magical lands – Storytelling times: 11am, 12pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm Monday to Friday. Halloween themed games: Test your courage and skill with spooky challenges and dragon-inspired activities for all ages. Decorations galore: From eerie enchantments to whimsical dragon lairs, Trerice will be dressed for the occasion. You can even conjure up your own potions outside in the garden and press some juicy apples.

2) Healeys Cyder Farm

When: 11th to 31st October 2025

Distance from The Beeches Glamping: 15-minute drive

From 11 October to 31 October, you can board the haunted Vintage Tractor and you’ll be taken to the Healeys Pumpkin Patch to pick out your very own pumpkin! After you’ve found the perfect pumpkin, it’s time to get creative in the Rattler Bar, which will be transformed into a spooky pumpkin carving family workshop!

Our pumpkin farmers have been hard at work this year! Thanks to the dry summer, our pumpkins are a little smaller than usual — but don’t worry, they’re just as cute and perfect for carving.

Each ticket includes a tractor ride plus a pumpkin for your child to carve and proudly display at home. We will provide all of the carving tools (adult supervision required) and better yet… we’ll tidy up all of the mess afterwards!

Adult tickets also include the tractor ride and pumpkin, however, you’re welcome to swap your pumpkin for a pint of Cyder instead.

3) Wheal Martyn

When: 18th October – 1st November 2025

Enjoy some nature-inspired Halloween activities at Wheal Martyn, the UK’s only China Clay Mining Museum, this October half term. Immerse yourself in the atmospheric grounds of the original Victorian clay works, discover tools, machinery, and artefacts, and hear real life stories of the industry’s past and present. Pick up your portion of clay at the front desk and get your fingers dirty during your unique Halloween day out!

4) Bodmin Jail

When: 1st October – 1st November 2025

Looking for a true Halloween scare? For those who dare to venture into Bodmin Jail on a dark Halloween night, prepare for the fright of your life. This historic prison is infamous for its ghostly tales and paranormal encounters. You can embark on guided tours and ghost walks, where you’ll learn about the spine-chilling history of the inmates who once lived there. It’s a real spine-chilling adventure, not for the faint of heart.

Also available is a special ‘Day of the Dead’ Silent Disco on 1st November

5) The Eden Project

When: Saturday 25th October – Sunday 2nd November 2025

Think you know the Eden Project? Well, did you know that it comes alive with a selection of eerie activities leading up to Halloween? With their spine-tingling series of events known as Halloweden, discover the legendary Tree Giants who have arrived in Eden and need your help to protect the world’s forests. Uncover their hiding places and discover ancient wisdom, extraordinary tales, and enchanting performances. It’s incredible fun for all ages!

6) Paradise Park

When: Saturday 25th October – Sunday 2nd November 2025

Distance from The Beeches Glamping: 40-minute drive

Discover a world of family fun and spooky goings-on at Paradise Park this October. You’ll meet wonderful wildlife, with special appearances from some creepy crawlies, embark on a pumpkin trail where you’ll learn frightfully fascinating facts, and meet their sensational Dracula parrot. You can even spot dinosaurs and skeletons lurking around the park! There are all sorts of magical displays and themed activities to explore, so don’t miss out!

7) Strawberry Fields Pumpkin Fest

When: Weekends in October 2025

Strawberry Fields’ Pumpkin Fest is one of the best in the region, and this year’s will be even bigger and better than years before. There will be a frightfully fantastic range of family activities to get involved in, such as pumpkin picking, a mystical magic show, and a haunted maize maze!

8) Pendennis Castle

When: 25th October – 2nd November 2025

Pendennis Castle is a must-visit destination for keen ghost hunters and anyone who loves a spine-tingling experience. Nestled high on a hill overlooking the eerie Cornish coast, this castle is rumoured to be haunted by several spirits. Which ones will you encounter? You’ll be captivated by creepy stories, and you might even catch a glimpse of a ghoulish ghost on this spooky day out for all the family to enjoy!

Follow the quest to solve creepy clues and gather round to listen to spooky stories.

Join a local performer to hear chilling Cornish ghost tales as you take an interactive tours through the shadowy corners of the castle. Hunt for ghosts around the grounds and enrol your young ghouls and goblins in our spookily silly Monster School.

9) Natural Maritime Museum Cornwall

When: Saturday 25th October – Sunday 2nd November 2025

This Halloween, venture into the depths of the National Maritime Museum Cornwall for a chilling sea-themed adventure. Keep your eyes peeled for ghostly sailors and sea monsters as you explore the exhibits and interactive experiences. Their popular Surf 100 exhibition runs throughout Halloween, and don’t forget that little ones can pay a visit to the Skull Island play zone!
